I am an enthusiastic, bubbly and energetic individual who loves to learn. I found the best way to understand something is to teach is to someone else! I love to help others, and seeing that lightbulb moment when someone finally understands something they once found so challenging is the absolute best reward!
My favourite food is probably chocolate, especially those chocolate covered cornflake clusters. Give me fourteen of them, immediately. I love nothing more than a hot cuppa tea and a choccie digestive. Oh, and I absolutely love food, in case you haven’t guessed. I have two sausage dogs, and four cats! And my favourite pastime is sudoku. I’m also a bit nuts, but I hope that adds to the experience.
I have no criminal convictions, and I am not associated with any political groups. This is a safe space, and all are welcome.
I have tutored and mentored since the age of 14. I have volunteered as a teaching assistant in Heolddu Comprehensive school, where I worked with the Maths and Biology department. I currently work in the welsh blood service where I am aspiring to become a registered Biomedical Scientist.
My teaching approach is completely student lead. We go at your pace so there is absolutely no pressure. I am completely adaptable to a range of learning abilities. I like to incorporate multiple teaching methods to find what suits you best! I love a good quiz, or game so there are many of them too! Learning should be an enjoyable experience, and I strive to provide that!
