My lessons are focussed but relaxed and informal. I ask my students what they want help with. If they are unsure where to start, then I will lead them through some questions so that I can see what help they need.

My patience and my careful listening are as important as my understanding of maths.

As I have been a full time one-to-one maths tutor since 2009, I help students to achieve their potential - whether they are struggling, gifted or just need a boost.

For students of all ages and abilities, I improve confidence and grades.

I target students' personal learning gaps, reinforcing work done in school.

I am patient, friendly and communicative.

I work with students to develop a plan individually tailored to their needs and demonstrate each topic, step by step.

I have used maths in the 'real' world not just in education.

My ten years training and teaching in profit and non-profit organisations means that I communicate concisely and articulately.

I have tutored over 3000 hours of GCSE, A Level and numeracy tests such as QTS.

I love to help students conquer their fear of maths.

I charge time-and-a-half at weekends.
