I am a dedicated, experienced tutor of Ancient Greek, Koine Greek (New Testament) Classics, and English Literature.

After studying at the University of Manchester, England, achieving an Honours Degree in Classics, I pursued a Master of Arts Degree in English Literature achieving a Merit.

I have taught New Testament Greek to people across the UK and United States.

Tutoring Experience

10 years experience. 30+ pupils.
I am able to accompany my tutee using any Greek textbook, though personally recommend John Taylor’s Greek to GCSE series (Bloomsbury), and then moving on to Athenaze Book Two (OCR).
Koine Greek can be taught with Duff’s Elements of NT Greek
For Homeric Greek, I recommend Homeric Greek: A Book for Beginners by Clyde Pharr (Yale UP).

Tutoring Approach

A rapport is important - I am friendly! I never intend to hurry my student along faster than they can go, nor too quickly.
I always prepare lessons in advance. Homework is often given to track progress.
