Callum

Hi, I am a passionate 33 year old teacher who has been teaching for over 10 years. I enjoy spending time with my daughter who is 11 and currently prepping for her SATS papers, I have a passion for the outdoors and sports, mainly running, walking and football.

Tutoring Experience

I have been teaching for over 10 years, I have taught a range of subjects from Accounting and Business Studies at A Level, BTEC and GCSE. I currently teach Maths and I am a head of learning, my experience in maths ranges from ks3 to Foundation Maths for year 11, specialising on students aiming for a grade 4 on their foundation papers.

Tutoring Approach

I used a mixed approach of engaging students through a range of practice questions and whiteboard work to make learning exciting and helping students to gain a knowledge of the concept. I ensure that students use practice and methods o become critical thinkers to allow an improvement in application. I am flexible to teaching 1:1 or in a small group. My teaching is adaptable and will fit round the student's learning and will ensure that they are happy to lead the session based on their needs/gaps in their knowledge.
