I am an experienced solicitor who trained at an international law firm and currently practise in the technology sector. Graduated from the University of Leicester in 2015 with a 2:1 LLB Law degree and completed the LPC shortly afterwards at BPP in London before starting my training contract. Tutoring is a personal passion of mine. I believe everyone deserves the chance for success in their studies and enjoy helping students achieve their academic goals.
I have been tutoring LLB Law and GDL students for several years across qualifying law degree and optional module areas.
My tutoring is solely focused on undergraduate LLB Law and GDL students, which has allowed me to develop an approach that helps student build confidence in their subject knowledge and exam technique. I focus my sessions on specific modules on the LLB/GDL that my students want support with by methodically breaking down the key cases and principles before working through example problem and essay questions. By applying the same approach to each session across the tutorial topics for the relevant module, students are able to improve their ability of using the IRAC method at speed ahead of their exams while having the opportunity to correct any misunderstandings of case-law or legal principles. I like to take a jovial, friendly and encouraging approach to tutoring law, which often can be seen as a daunting subject.
