I am a current medical student at Brighton and Sussex Medical School in my third year of training. I am passionate about education and strongly desire to share my skills and techniques with younger students to help them reach their full potential.
I am my year group's representative for the medical school's Gastroenterology Society, in which I have helped produce quizzes and other learning materials for students in lower year groups. This experience has helped me refine my teaching techniques as well as develop key qualities of patience and empathy, which are essential to building a good bond with students. I have also had experience tutoring past secondary school students, where I have received very positive reviews and helped them to secure top grades in their exams.
I thoroughly believe in a holistic and student-centred approach to learning. Since each individual is different, learns different and has different strengths and weaknesses, I am flexible and willing to help students with any area of their curriculum that they are struggling with, whilst also sharing my own personal techniques that have enabled me to be successful with my studies.
