A teacher since 2001, I have worked in a variety of settings supporting young people to fulfil their potential and become the very best versions of themselves. Both as a senior leader, supporting other teachers, and as a class teacher working every day to help children progress across a variety of subjects and to see how education can be challenging, fun and rewarding.

Tutoring Experience

Over twenty years experience as a teacher including 11-16 and primary. Sixteen years as an Assistant Headteacher in a large primary school - maths lead, DSL, LAC and pupil premium lead. Currently working towards NPQH.

Tutoring Approach

I firmly believe in the need to build positive relationships that demonstrate trust and empathy in order to foster the best possible support for learning. My style is calm and measured, taking the time to make sure that the knowledge and skills we are building are secure and embedded over time.
