I am a fully qualified Biology and science teacher with over 18 years of experience in education. I am a GTCS registered teacher will a fully disclosed PVG (criminal check). I have a strong biology background and hold a BSci in Infection Biology from the University of Glasgow and I also have a PGDE in Secondary Education for biology and science. I have taught in Scotland and abroad, giving me a working knowledge of the following courses: National 4 and 5 Biology; Higher Biology; Higher Human Biology; Advanced Higher Biology; IGCSE Biology; IB Biology and IB Sports, Health and Exercise Science.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is student focused. I like to get to know the student in order to understand their strengths and weaknesses. I use a variety of learning strategies to keep the student engaged and make learning more efficient. I have an in depth knowledge of the examination process and use this knowledge to help best prepare my students for their assessments.
