I specialise in delivering one to one tuition to children in the local area for the 11 plus entrance exam.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught KS2 children for over 13 years for entrance exams and for those who just need that extra bit of help. I have lived in the Ribble Valley for 20 years and have helped many (including 3 of my own children) achieve their academic goals.

Tutoring Approach

I offer a 12 month programme, which is structured but tailored to build up on your child's strengths and weaknesses. The first half is spent working on the 3 test specifics of maths, English and Verbal Reasoning. The latter on exam style questions that fully reflect the exam. I do a mock test in July under exam conditions so that children feel confident and ready for the exam in September.
