I’m a qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a degree in Speech Science from the University of Sheffield, currently working in the NHS. I also spent two years teaching English as a foreign language in South Korea and hold a TEFL certificate. I’m passionate about helping learners feel confident and capable, whether they’re building early literacy skills, developing their language, or learning English/French as an additional language. Sessions are always tailored to suit you or your child’s needs, pace, and personality.
I’ve supported children and young people in the UK and abroad, across mainstream and additional needs settings. My work as a speech therapist focuses on developing vocabulary, comprehension, sentence structure, and confidence with communication. In South Korea, I taught English to learners of all levels, planning fun, engaging lessons and supporting language development step-by-step. I’m confident working with children with SEN, as well as bilingual learners or those needing extra support with reading, spelling, and language.
My sessions are friendly, interactive, and built around the learner. I aim to create a calm, encouraging space where children feel comfortable to learn and grow. I use visuals, games, and strategies from both speech therapy and ESL teaching to make lessons enjoyable and effective. Whether we’re working on phonics, comprehension, or conversational skills, I adapt every session to help you or your child make progress, and enjoy the process.
