My name is Catherine and I am a French native speaker. I am available for French Tuition for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students. I have been living in the UK for 30 years. I have a son who is bilingual who passed his French GCSE two years early gaining full mark. I have a Degree-Master-PhD in Chemistry from Toulouse University, France with a background in Chemistry research.
Tutoring Experience
I am now retired, having worked in secondary schools for 20 years prior to my retirement. First as a TA for 14 years in successful local secondary schools providing support in class and on a 1:1 basis. Then working at Aylesbury Grammar School as the Student Support Officer for 6 years, enabling students in the Student Support Department to learn and to gain confidence in an enjoyable atmosphere. I am available for French tuition for KS3, KS4 and KS5 students.
Tutoring Approach
I have tutoring experience since 20 years ago. I am patient and adaptable to the specific needs of the student. My aim is to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible and to use as many examples as possible. For KS4 and KS5 students, I use questions from past papers as part of the tutoring program.
