I am an experienced primary school teacher and tutor with a passion for making learning fun for all children!
With 17 years of teaching experience spanning all year groups within the primary age phase, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role as a tutor. I have a proven track record of effectively supporting children with Special Educational Needs, as well as extensive experience in supporting children to prepare for KS1 and KS2 SATs.
I am able to tutor Writing, Grammar, Maths and Reading for pupils from Years 2 to 6.
I am passionate about building children’s self-confidence and helping them to develop a love for learning. I adapt my lessons to suit the pace and needs of each child I work with, and I design my lessons to make sure they are creative and enjoyable and that learning is fun! I understand that when children are actively engaged and enjoying themselves, they are more likely to retain information and develop a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom. I have excellent subject knowledge and I am good at breaking down learning into small steps so that children can make rapid progress. This approach helps to build children's confidence by providing them with achievable goals and clear pathways to success.
