Catherine's Feedback

Catherine has been doing weekly maths session’s with our youngest for five or so months now and the positive impact she has had is remarkable. She not only teaches maths thoroughly, but really encourages her students to love the subject too. Her sessions are always well prepared and engaging, and we (and her teachers!!) have seen real improvement in our 10 year old’s overall maths performance. We can’t recommend her more !!

Catherine has been a great tutor to my son. She has been teaching both English and Maths. Catherine has made the lessons fun and interesting, and is always giving positive feedback during the lesson. She has a sweet nature which makes my son feel comfortable and enthusiastic to learn.

I can't make any comment on Catherine's tutoring because we didn't have the chance to start a lesson with her. Catherine cancelled first lesson with very short notice - a few hours before the time we agreed, without a proper explanation. I then messaged her on Wednesday to confirm the date and time for the following weekend and she confirmed that she will definitely come at 3 pm on Saturday. However, she texted me on Friday required to change the time again. She said she forgot an important medical appointment on that day. I was quite disappointed because Catherine was not serious with time at all. I just lost the faith in her and unfortunately I had to require to change a tutor.

Catherine is great with my children, I’ve noticed significant improvement and positive feedbacks from their teachers. My kids really enjoy their classes with her. Thank you Catherine!

We are disappointed in Catherine informing us just 24 before she was due to start tutoring our daughter that were we too far away to proceed as agreed even though we spoke and agreed terms over the phone 4 days ago. We used the matching search service available on FirstTutor webside to find tutors near us.

Lovely friendly and professional my boy is enjoying every lesson and learning loads

Catherine is a lovely tutor, my son took to her right away. She took note of his likes and has structured his lessons around topics that keep him interested. He sits at the window waiting for her to arrive and I have never seen him jump into his chair before!

She communicates well, always letting me know if she has been delayed. Her initial assessment was great and gave me some comfort as to why he has been struggling. Even after only a few lessons his confidence and ability has increased so much it is a pleasure to sit and study with him now.
