I am a native speaker with over 34 years experience teaching French in the UK at all levels from nursery children to A-level and university students.

Tutoring Experience

I taught at Bury Grammar School for 18 years, then in a variety of primary schools in the Greater Manchester area as a visiting specialist teacher for a number of years. I have also taught adult classes in corporate settings, and run French language after school clubs.

Tutoring Approach

I favour face-to-face lessons that are more conducive to hassle-free and fun immediate interaction, although I will consider online classes with older learners who live too far away or are unable to travel. I can help with any aspect of your French learning to ensure you improve with plenty of practice and encouragement.
