I am an experienced and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher and have a passion for inspiring my students to make excellent progress and achieve their full potential. I currently specialise in AS and A-Level tuition.

I can see huge advantages of being able to work with students on a one to one basis and am able to tutor students of all abilities. I aim to ensure I leave my students feeling happy and confident with the topic they are studying and offer direction for extra consolidation.

Tutoring Experience

Whilst I specialise in A-Level Maths teaching, I have 13 years of extensive experience teaching and tutoring Maths, which includes students from year 5 to 13, students of all abilities and students with special needs. I have tutored students from St Georges, William Perkins, Gordons, LVS, SJB, Fullbrook, Woking College, Farnborough Sixth, Wellington College, Guildford County and more.

I am proficient with the new A-level syllabus in Pure Maths, Mechanics and Statistics. I also have experience marking A-Level (and SATs) papers for Edexcel Pearson.

Tutoring Approach

I am usually available during holidays as well as term time. I prefer to tutor on the weekend, but given notice I can do weekday evenings. Since lockdown in 2020 I have given all my students the option of online tuition. I am able to offer tuition at my house, but am also happy to travel to parts of Farnborough and Camberley, Frimley, Mytchett, Ash Vale, Ash and Normandy.

I can offer the option of mixing or alternative online in-person tuition. My standard rate is £50 per hour session, or £70 for 1.5hr session, which is very popular near exams (when I tend to get completely booked up!). If travelling to a tutees house I charge £5-10 fuel cost dependent on location.
