I am British, Masters Graduate, specialised in Maths and Physics and Chemistry. An experienced private tutor for over sixteen years, set very high standards

I was graduated from Newcastle University followed by various professional qualifications A Chartered Engineer with Fellowship. I Served in the British Merchant Navy for many years. While I was working in West Africa I engaged in teaching voluntarily (in my free time) English Maths and Science, children of all ages. This made me interested in teaching. Soon I realised that this was what I wish to do after ending my career overseas. In 1998 I ended my career overseas and decided go in to teaching. In 1999 I took up teaching as a full time private tutor which I continue up to date.
I am a registered member of Removed which is one of the most reputed private teaching agencies in the Country and I was elected as the best Tutor of the Year.

• Provided over 2000 students with high quality, structured, tailor-made one-to-one private tuition, both online and in person. This has been done via tutoring agencies and directly through numerous parent referrals.
• Teach entire UK syllabuses for KS2 Mathematics, English and Science; KS3 Mathematics, English and Science; GCSE Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry; A-level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
• Specialize in preparing students for achieving the highest grades in the GCSE Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry exams for all UK exam boards.
• Specialize in fully preparing students for achieving their required University entry grades in the A-level Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry exams, for all UK exam boards. This has meant successful entry of all students to their 1st choice Universities, including top 5 Universities in the UK such Oxford, Cambridge and London School of Economics.
• Successfully prepared students to sit and pass entrance exams for some of the finest grammar and public schools in the UK, including Eton College, Harrow School, Cheltenham Ladies’ College, Wickham Abbey School, Wellington College and Kendrick School.

Tutoring Approach

Tutoring Approach:
Initial assessment followed by structured and tailor made teaching programme to suit and meet individual student's needs. All lessons are kept in line with what is taught in the school and in line with the National Curriculum. Progress of the pupil is repeatedly tested by regular home work and monthly mini tests. Parents are kept well informed throughout the course of studies.
Substantial amount of revision and past paper questions are done prior to the examinations. Number of mock tests are carried out to ensure that the pupil is fully prepared to achieve highest grades in the Exam. Nearly all my pupils over the years have continued with me until they entered the University of 1st choice. I have quite often prepared the students successfully for entrance exams for top schools such as Eton, Harrow, Cheltenham Ladies, Wickham Abbey Wellington, Kendrick , Reading Boys etc
