Charlie has been helping my son’s English in the past 4/5 years. He has tutored our son for both IGCSE Cambridge Language and Literature.

He is an excellent teacher with school kids: enthusiastic, responsible, good technical skills and knowledgeable.
In the past years, he helped my son for not just English comprehension, Literacy analysis, but also critical thinking and writing. With his help, my son’s English jumped from bottom position to the top during 13+ exams, and also a great progress during GCSE preparation.

We have recommended Charlie to a couple of my friends and they all have very positive feedback.

Charlie is a very dedicated, caring and brilliant tutor who brings a lot of energy with him; always full of life and willing to go that extra mile to help on days when it may not suit him. He is sincere, professional and very amiable. My son was very close to quitting Spanish GCSE before meeting Charlie as he wasn't getting anywhere at school and didn't like the language. After a few months of lessons with Charlie he started enjoying Spanish and his grades improved quite dramatically. Top man. Highly recommend.

I am currently working for a Tier 1 investment bank as software engineer in London.
It is easy to be a developer as long as your technical skill is good. However, if you want to progress your career to next level, you need to be professional in both technical and communication skills. Because English is not my first language, it is hard for me to progress to such level.
Charlie is the one who has helped me to progress my career. In the first lesson, he quickly identified my weakness and designed a series of useful lessons for me. He suggested books that suit my level. We also focus on soft/life skill whenever I require. Because of him, I can use more natural collocations, speak more clearly, and construct better sentences in my day to day work. This not only impact my career development, but make me more confident in my personal life.
We have been having sessions for nine months.
I would highly recommend him.

I can't recommend Charlie enough. My son has learning difficulties and Charlie got him through his GCSE English, a qualification I never thought he'd be able to achieve! In addition, Charlie is a lovely guy and a pleasure to have around. He teaches patiently, creatively and with great good humour. Now my son has got his GCSE, Charlie is helping him with life skills - filling in forms, helping him understand scams and frauds and a range of other useful real world subjects. He's great at coming up with ideas and keeping my son engaged.

He has made the lessons engaging and interesting and helped him to not only develop his vocabulary but also to develop his comprehension and understanding of articles he reads.

My tutoring sessions with Charlie have given me a huge level of confidence with my critical analysis, how to approach in a professional level my essays and develop my vocabulary.

One of the main reasons why I did contact Charlie in the first place was because he speakes Spanish which is my first language, so I thought that his support could be extremely beneficial and it was. I have been working with Charlie for 8 months now and since day 1 he has been able to work out with me different schedules for our sessions as I work and study at the same time. His support is exceptional.

Charlie started tutoring Max, who is severely dyslexic, for Spanish IGCSE in Oct last year. He was an incredible tutor , very professional and worked tirelessly to find ways to help max remember his vocabulary. Max was predicted a 6 in spanish and achieved an 8 and this was without doubt due to the incredible guidance and work that Charlie did. I would have no hesitation in recommending Charlie.

Charlie was a really excellent Spanish A-level tutor for my son. With little time to work with Charlie got to grips with my son's level of knowledge very quickly to make the most of the three months available. Lessons were always focused on the course and the areas my son needed most help with; as a result, my son continually felt he was being stretched and learning useful material. Charlie was always prompt and made himself available for lessons at all possible times. All this, plus the rapport he was able to build with my son, means I recommend Charlie very strongly to anyone looking for a tutor. We have used a few tutors and Charlie is up there with the best.
