Hello! I'm Charlotte, a fully qualified teacher with a Master’s degree from Cambridge, over 12 years of teaching experience, and a deep passion for helping learners thrive. I specialise in primary education, French (from early years to KS3), and Special Educational Needs (SEND). As a mum of two and a lifelong learner myself, I understand how powerful it can be when children feel confident, supported, and inspired.
I’ve taught across the primary age range in both mainstream and specialist settings, including as a SENCO and French lead. I’ve supported pupils with a range of additional needs and delivered engaging, high-impact lessons tailored to their learning styles. My experience also includes running French clubs, 1:1 tutoring, and preparing children for 11+ and SATs, both in-person and online. I'm also trained in trauma-informed approaches and have a proven track record of building strong, trusting relationships with children and families.
I take a personalised and engaging approach to tutoring, aiming to build confidence and curiosity in every learner. My sessions are structured but flexible, combining clear objectives with fun, practical activities tailored to each student’s needs. I use visual aids, games, role-play (especially in languages), and creative strategies to make learning memorable and enjoyable. My aim is always to create a calm, supportive environment where students feel safe to take risks and grow.
