I am 32 living in Kent and working in London. I work as a Research Manager within a Social and Behavioural Team for a well known research organisation, and previously worked within higher education as a part time lecturer. I am an active psychologist and researcher.
I have a PhD in psychology, a first class (honours) undergraduate degree in psychology, and a teaching qualification awarded by the higher education academy.
I have previously tutored Introduction to Psychology, Research Methods and Advanced Statistics for students in further education (University BSc and MSc level) as part of a BPS accredited Psychology Programme, and I have a qualified teaching status (QTS) from the Higher Education Academy (HEA). I have previously had successful experience tutoring students at undergraduate and masters level, and am interested in extending this to A-Level and GCSE.
My approach to tutoring is extremely personal as everyone has different learning styles and needs. We can work along a structured course you are undertaking at school/college, or you can present you own issues or specific areas to address. I will always give 100% as I believe everyone can achieve academic success with the right support.
