I'm an experienced fully qualified science teacher who has a genuine desire to contribute towards the success of students. I display a positive persona and take much joy from building positive relationships with the students that I teach. I have over 10 years experience tutoring science and I show much enthusiasm teaching the subject I enjoy. I take much pleasure from making science an enjoyable subject to the students I teach as well as equipping them with the knowledge they need to succeed.
I teach science at secondary school across all 3 specialisms (biology, chemistry and physics) at GCSE. I specialise in biology and chemistry however I do have comprehensive knowledge of physics at GCSE having taught it throughout my career as I teacher. I also have extensive knowledge of all the major exam boards, Edexcel, AQA and OCR.
The lessons I deliver are bespoke to suit the needs of the students I tutor.
I take an adaptive approach to tutoring and aim to build students confidence to help contribute towards their success. Not only do I equip students with scientific knowledge but I focus on application of knowledge through regular exam practice to help develop on their resilience and exam readiness.
