I currently work as a HR Coordinator, I have been in this role for 2 years and with my current company for 5 years. I joined Topgolf while I was studying for my Masters degree.
My main responsibilities are manage the recruitment and HR systems, advising on any legislative or contractually covered pay and benefit, prepare contracts and support the business with employment relations cases.
In addition to this, I provide HR support to line managers with regards to ER cases and probationary reviews.
I graduated from University of Hertfordshire with a Masters degree in Human Resource Management and a professional qualification at level 7 with CIPD.
I deliver training session on new processes and policies to both current and new policies. This has been an additional part of any job I have had within my current company for 4 years.
I aim to provide a solid grounding in the subject while paying close attention to the needs of the individual.
An initial meeting establishes the student’s needs and the direction tuition should take. Then we begin work on a programme of study which focuses on filling gaps in knowledge and addressing any areas of weakness.
I believe that tutoring is a two way relationship, people learn differently and as long as we are both open and communicate properly, it will work. I encourage an open environment which creates a comfortable atmosphere for the student to be confident enough to speak up about any issue they may have.
