My name is Chloe and I have recently graduated from Aston University where I studied Healthcare Science (Audiology). Before this I studied Human Biology at Glasgow University. I have a passion for biology and teaching and love to help students reach their full potential.

Tutoring Experience

Throughout both degrees, I tutored students in National 5 and Higher biology. During my time at Glasgow University, I ran an after school biology supported study for students at my old high school. More recently, during my time at Aston, I have continued to teach students one-to-one at both levels and so have extensive knowledge of the curriculum and SQA requirements.

Tutoring Approach

I prefer an interactive approach to tutoring, one that is as immersive as possible for the student. After identifying their strengths and weaknesses, I develop a teaching plan tailored to their needs. I believe practise makes perfect and so encourage the student to engage fully by incorporating lots of exam-style questions and quizzes throughout my sessions, so they get the maximum benefit from our sessions together.
