Hello!

I am currently working full time as a class teacher in a primary school.

I am looking to tutor children between the ages of 5-11, helping them to make progress in specific subjects, SATs and 11+ preparation.

Tutoring Experience

I have been working in a primary school setting as a class teacher for the last 3 and a half years. I have worked in Year 3 and I am currently working in Year 2, preparing children for their SATs. I work with children who possess a range of abilities and needs such as SEND and EAL children.

Tutoring Approach

I highly believe that children work best when they have trust and mutual respect with their teacher. I believe that children learn through clear modelling and scaffolding techniques as well through consistent retrieval practise, to ensure knowledge and skill are embedded into their working memory.
