I have a genuine passion in unlocking a students’ potential and seeing their confidence grow. My firm belief in building self-belief and confidence has allowed previous tutees and mentees to succeed in their exams.

Tutoring Experience

Experience teaching and tutoring English Language and Literature years 7-11.

Experience working in an ASC provision means that I have a special interest in SEND and have previously tutored students with dyslexia.

I have experience mentoring students in A-level English Language.

I also have degrees and teaching experience in Sociology, so please let me know if this would interest you.

Tutoring Approach

I have a firm belief that students have a right to learn and progress without barriers in place which is why I scaffold the learning in a way to avoid overload. I understand what examiners are looking for and how best to break this down in an accessible way.

I am patient, approachable and understanding. I want students to feel at ease whilst also being challenged to ensure that they reach their full potential.
