I am a friendly and positive primary school teacher in Kent. I love to make learning fun and use pictorial and concrete manipulatives to demonstrate and develop deeper understandings in maths. I love art, music, dogs and love to travel in my school holidays. I have taught in Bangkok, the Gambia and Uganda.
I have worked in full time positions and supply roles for 4 years, and have tutored in my spare time for 2 years. I am passionate about helping others to learn at their own pace, in an environment where they feel safe and happy. I have lots of experience working with SEND, and always adapt my teaching to suit the needs of the individual.
I aim to make each lesson memorable, engaging and fun, incooperating a range of practical activities. Each lesson allows for the child’s knowledge to be assessed, then built upon, allowing for assessment opportunities to check their understanding and application questions to demonstrate the new knowledge.
