Christiane is an amazing French GCSE tutor! Her approach to teaching was personalised based my son's ability and requirements. In just a few lessons his understanding of French grammar and vocabulary was noticeable and his pronunciation of the words was progressing. Most important of all, Christiane gave him the confidence he needs to achieve better grades! We would highly recommend her.

Christiane was an excellent tutor who really helped with my preparation for the TCF for French Nationality Application. She was flexible and responsive and ready to help with the aspects of written French where I felt st confident. As an adult rner with basic to moderate French, with her support I passed the TCF exam and even achieved one level above the required one ! . I am happy to highly recommend her.

Christiane is a great tutor, friendly and welcoming. As very much a beginner Christiane makes lessons interesting, varied as well as challenging. I will always look forward to my next lesson!

Christiane helped my daughter prepare for her French GCSE and did a great job. She was patient but firm and challenged my daughter to have more confidence in her abilities which resulted in a great improvement in my daughter’s French. She also really enjoyed spending time with Christiane, we would highly recommend her.

I am looking to rn conversational French. Christiane organises her lessons to accommodate this. As a complete beginner I find her style allows me to rn quicky and confidently.

Chistiane has been tutoring my son for several weeks to help with his GCSE level French… She is kind, reliable and very professional. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to others. My son enjoys her lessons and the fact that she is a native French speaker gives him more confidence with listening and speaking the language.Christiane always arrives with books and flashcards to aid the lessons and is happy to help with homework tasks. What else can I say but très fantastique!

Christiane has been superbe in accommodating our sessions, flexible with times etc. She is very welcoming and makes you feel at home and less self conscious when pronouncing new words, she also tries various methods to try to find the best way in which individuals rn.

I’ve been tutored by Christiane since I was 11 (7 years now!) right through GCSE and A-level. She is an amazing tutor who quickly helped me gain confidence and proficiency. I started with absolutely no knowledge of french and now speak, right, and read fluently. Very professional and adaptable, Christiane is a very dedicated and skilled tutor, I often didn’t even realise I was rning because the activities were so fun and relaxed. Christiane is a professional, fun, talented, patient french teacher. As well as GCSE's, Christiane has also provided help, support, guidance, fun rning environment, understanding, patience, passion with A level French. I cannot recommend enough, if I could give more than 5 stars, I would give 6. If I could recommend more than 100%, I would double. A fantastic teacher and a fabulous person. Christiane does a great job teaching children - lessons are fun with lots of games. My daughters look forward to and really engage in and enjoy their French lessons with Christiane.

Christiane is a fantastic and patient tutor. We started out at level 0 for French, knowing only "Je ne sais pas". With Christiane's excellent teaching skills, we have rned a lot and feel quite confident with our progress. She has provided many tools for rning that make rning fun. She utilizes technology, different styles of curriculum, flashcards, games and other ways to help enhance her teaching. She uses topics that are of interest to us and that help us to understand the culture.

Christiane is an absolutely wonderful French tutor. We decided to improve our French as a family, which consisted of a fairly good French speaking husband, a poorly French speaking wife (me!) and our two year old daughter (a complete beginner!) Christiane manage to pitch every lesson just right so we all felt involved at all times. Every lesson was fun and interesting and our confidence grew as the weeks passed. Christiane was amazing with our daughter holding her attention speaking solely in French to her every time every time. She was very flexible, working around our work commitments and we shall miss her immensely! If you are looking for a French tutor, look no further, you really won't find anyone better.

Many thanks for the all the help you have given me the past few weeks. You have been an excellent person to practice and improve my French with, providing important advice and content in our lessons both in terms of grammar and vocabulary while at the same time making sure the lessons were practical and conversation-focused. You also managed to make sure that we covered a large amount in a way which was interesting and fun, and you were a very enjoyable person to talk to.A few weeks ago I was extremely nervous at the prospect of going to live and work in French-speaking Switzerland, but now I'm much happier with it. Christiane always manages to get me to do more than I think I can. I started French lessons as an adult about three months ago with little confidence, but I really believe I am making progress.

Christiane uses lots of different approaches in her lessons, so it's always interesting and never gets boring. I have really enjoyed working with her so far and am looking forward to continued progression… and she has a good sense of humour!

Christiane has been a great teacher for our daughter who is now far more confident and able to communicate in French. I would not hesitate to recommend her and we will also look to engage for additional support going forward.

We made contact with Christiane at the beginning of September 2014, as our son entered year 9. Having had no previous experience of French before secondary school, the time had come when he realised that additional support was required.

In the first 3 months, having an hour session per week, Christiane has made a massive improvement to his confidence with the subject which has resulted in improved engagement and results in all three areas (reading, writing and speaking); prompting a raising of his set.

Christiane's teaching complements the school lessons and homework by setting additional reading and challenging tasks.

I highly recommend Christiane as someone who has made a significant and positive impression through her ways of working with our son.

With the help and support from Christiane, my son got a B in his GCSE exam 2014. Christiane is a brilliant teacher, she helped my son to build up his confidence and knowledge from the bottom to top level in a very short period of time. Christine is the most lively and engaging teacher one could wish for, displaying great professionalism and expertise. She has been coaching our 13 year old daughter for several months and achieved wonders. Christine is familiar with the language problems of children educated (usually not educated!) in the UK and, with the true spoken French language, has provided a welcome counterbalance to bookish rning. We have profited greatly from knowing her.

Christiane has been tutoring my daughter for a few months now. I'm absolutely delighted with her approach to teaching and thoroughly recommend her as a tutor.

My daughter has not been very enthusiastic about rning French. However, Christiane has adapted her teaching style to make lessons interesting and fun. As a result, my child is much more open to rning the language and has even decided that we should go to France for our holiday this year so that she can use her new French skills!

Christiane is absolutely brilliant with my 2 and half year old daughter. My daughter looks forward to seeing Christiane knowing there will be some games to play, whilst Christiane speaks french the whole time. She also have uttered a few words!

After needing some last minute help to boost up my french grade, I began having lessons with Christiane having tried other french tutors in the past, who I felt didn't have enough knowledge of the curriculum.
Instantly I felt very comfortable and able to "have a go" without feeling stupid if I was wrong (quite often to begin with!) My french has improved beyhond all recognition in just a couple of months and this is due to Christiane's patience, encouraging nature and unwavering belief in me, giving me the confidence to go on and succeed in my exam.
I strongly recommend Christiane to any A level student feeling out of their depth in this subject, Christiane has a flexible character/approach to teaching which will suit anyone's rning style or goals.
My exams are over now and I will be continuing to speak french when I can find the time(something I never thought I'd say!) simply because I miss her!
