Hello! My name is Christopher. I am an English teacher from London. The greatest feeling as a teacher is pride in my students as they progress. I love to travel and particularly enjoy learning about new places and meeting new people.
I possess a Cambridge CELTA qualification, which is an internationally recognised and highly respected ESOL qualification. I taught English in Thailand full time for one year, and lived as a member of the community. I am also a volunteer with the Access Project, a charity which provides 1 to 1 tutoring for under-resourced students. I am a student myself at the University of East Anglia, studying Geography and International Development.
Currently, I am building a base of students. I am passionate about English teaching because of the opportunities and freedoms it can provide for its students. I remember learning Thai and being impressed at how much freedom it gave me to speak to people and travel the country.
I have one year's experience teaching English to students in Thailand and I am a volunteer with the Access Project who provide 1 to 1 online tutoring for students from under resourced backgrounds.
I bring a passion for teaching as well as a drive to deliver, so my students should expect lessons which are both fun and engaging. I incorporate my students’ learning styles and experiences to create individually tailored sessions that always lead to meaningful progress.
If you'd like to learn with me, my lessons are 1 hour long and are for all ages and ability levels.
