I have studied Physics and received a PhD in Quantum Optics from Bradford University six years ago. I would like to develop the critical abilities of my students and to communicate my love for physics and maths.
Tutoring Experience
I have been a university/college tutor since 2002 both in Greece and the UK (in the UK after 2005). I have also been a private tutor for secondary education students (GCSE and A levels in Physics and Maths/Mechanics) during 2012 and 2013.
Tutoring Approach
Problem solving and examining carefully selected questions aimed at the qualitative understanding of concepts in Physics is my main teaching approach. For students interested in participating at the British Physics Olympiad or taking the Physics Aptitude Test challenging physics problem sets are available.
