Claire's Feedback

I have been instructed to leave feedback by first tutors inorder to transfer the finders fee. We have not had lessons from Claire so can not comment on teaching. Communication difficulties prevented us from progessing.

Extremely useful and flexible to whatever you need or want to do. Does a very good mixture of content, exam technique and real questions. She is also very reliable. I am enjoying my sessions and am definitely growing in confidence

Claire is helping my daughter prepare for her Biology A level exams. Her wealth of knowledge and experience has helped my daughter gain a deeper understanding of the subject. Claire is an excellent tutor and I would have no hesitation in recommending her.

Claire responded immediately to our inquiry and as soon as we all spoke together we knew she was the right tutor. She was professional, friendly, kind and confidence boosting, immediately relating to my daughter, and building a relationship with her. Claire has worked with her over the last four months boosting her confidence, increasing her knowledge and understanding of her A Level biology course. She has also worked especially hard at encouraging and strengthening her retention levels by looking at different ways of approaching the tutoring and delivery of the course material. Claire has been wonderful.

Claire is very professional with her time-keeping, always fulfilling the booked slots and goes out of her way to find slots that work with my daughter’s available times, including weekends, evenings and in the holidays. She goes the extra mile to find the time that works for her student.

One of the most important qualities about Claire is that she is not just a biology teacher, but also Head of Sixth Form, and a mum, with a young family. She therefore understands how young people and teenagers work, think, function and the support and guidance they need to learn, feel comfortable, be happy, and fulfil their potential.

Claire is more than just a biology tutor and has exceeded our expectations. The proof of all of this, is that in the five months she has been tutoring my daughter, my daughter’s exam results have increased by 3 grades and she is now positively believing she can attain her needed grades to get onto her preferred university course. This is fantastic and we could not have wished for more.

Claire has been so supportive during my A level biology tutoring sessions. My confidence is growing every week and I’m glad I found her. Each session she listens to understand what I need help with. Claire has been truly amazing for our daughter studying A level Biology. Her approach is excellent for the subject matter and the way it is taught, From the outset our daughter felt relaxed with Claire and has gained confidence. Claire has so much to offer a student. Not only just from subject matter but also, due to her experience in examination marking, she understands what the boards are trying to test. This simply means she has helped our daughter understand where the marks are. Biology is a subject where you can use a lot of words and not hit what is being tested.

Also, Claire identified that our daughter needed extra time for examinations and should be tested. The school tested and indeed our daughter should have been given additional time and will in future.

We cannot thank Claire enough for her professionalism and more importantly caring. She is a credit to teaching and we have no reservations about recommending Claire.

Claire is really helping my son with A Level Biology. He’s already making visible progress and is a lot more confident. She’s very organised and has quickly identified where he needs support.

Claire has really helped my daughter with Biology. Claire got to know my daughter quickly and worked out areas that she needed support with e.g confidence and exam technique. Claire has given my son excellent help with his A-level biology, clearly explaining parts of the syllabus he was finding tricky and really helping his understanding and boosting his confidence. My son is enjoying these online tutoring sessions. I am very impressed by the way Claire engages my son and communicates the subject in a way that suits him, going above and beyond to give him resources. I can see that Claire is an outstanding teacher and I'm so pleased that my son has her as his tutor.
