33 years experience in teaching at FE and secondary school up to when I retired in 2006 as head of IT/computer science. For the past 10 years I have been teaching in a variety of schools p/t and on a supply basis mostly in Devon and Cornwall
Experience in science ks3 and physics/computer science at ks3, ks4 and ks5. Experience in ks3, ks4 and ks5 maths. Would prefer to teach up to ks4 when private tutoring initially.
One to one is my preference. Face to face is so important in learning. I prefer this method as it encourages students to participate on paper providing their own solutions. Would not like to use online tutoring like Zoom etc.
