Age 58 female have degree in English Language and Literature and with QTLS status. I am also a qualified Literacy Specialist. I have Key Skills and Basic Skills experience, love literature and see good grammar, reading and English Language skills as a priority for all learners who want to progress in the highly competitive world of today's job market.
I have recently completed Diplomas in Autism Awareness, Dyslexia Awareness and SEND, to enhance and broaden my skill base.

Currently work in Adult Education, HE and FE situations teaching GCSE and A Level English, Functional English, and Adult Literacy. Proven track record with C to A* grades recorded for tutees.
Student centred, based on student needs and individual learning plans. Willing to work at students own pace whilst encouraging progression towards National Curriculum requirements.
Good English is valued therefore, I believe in sorting out the basics of grammar in order to build on a good foundation. I will always set homework and expect students to complete it.
I have SEN experience and am very patient I believe in working with the parents and am happy for them to question and be involved in their children's learning experience.
