Hello! I'm a passionate polyglot and languages graduate with a First Class degree in French and Spanish from the University of Cambridge. Raised trilingual in English, Hebrew, and German, I developed a strong love of languages from an early age. My experiences both at home and abroad have given me a deep appreciation of how language connects people and shapes cultures. I now focus on supporting GCSE and A-Level students in French and Spanish, helping them achieve exam success with greater ease and confidence. Having always excelled in exams myself — particularly in languages — I understand the techniques and strategies that can make a real difference. I am passionate about bridging the gap for students who find exam preparation more challenging. Through helping my sister, who is dyslexic, prepare for her GCSEs this year, I developed a keener sensitivity to these challenges as well as a clear and supportive teaching style, and I am committed to helping others realise their full potential too.
I have a strong background in both academic and practical language teaching. Over the years, I have taught French and English to a wide range of students, from young children to adults. My experience includes tutoring French to a GCSE student while I was still at school, teaching English as a second language to kindergarten children in Peru, providing private English tuition to adult learners in Buenos Aires, and teaching English to high school students in Nepal. I have also worked extensively with children in creative environments, including nannying and leading activities at Club Med. Alongside this hands-on teaching experience, my professional work in multilingual environments has further strengthened my communication and language skills, which I now bring into my tutoring.
My approach centres on helping students achieve excellent exam results, particularly at GCSE and A-Level. I focus on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension while also developing the exam techniques that are essential for success. I create clear, structured lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs, and I break down complex topics into manageable, understandable parts. Practice papers, speaking drills, and targeted revision exercises form key parts of my sessions. Above all, I aim to make students feel confident, supported, and well-prepared, so they can walk into their exams with clarity and self-belief.
