Cristina is tutoring my daughter for her biology A-level. Cristina is friendly, has allowed my daughter to set the topics that she needs help on, has been able to stay on for additional time when needed to ensure a topic session is completed and provides appropriate questions to support her learning.

Cristina was a massive help for our daughter, who was struggling with her biology a-level. Cristina was really professional and always on time and flexible. She gave our daughter a lot of confidence, and went through lots of past exam questions and talked about exam technique, etc. Our daughter ended up getting the grades required and is now at her first choice university studying her dream subject, marine biology! I can thoroughly recommend Cristina and her tutoring services.

Cristina could not have been a more perfect tutor for my daughter! My daughter had really struggled with biology A level throughout year 12 and found online delivery hard to work with so felt that she was quite behind at that stage. Cristina totally turned the situation around by spending time patiently going over things she didn’t understand and facilitating her learning of new material. Through in-depth conversations with Cristina my daughter’s confidence grew, her ability to answer exam questions improved and she developed a deep knowledge and understanding of the subject. Cristina always encouraged her to think carefully about what she was learning rather than learn things by rote and her fascination and love for the subject was very inspiring for my daughter.
They also got on really well which made a huge difference and Cristina was always very flexible and sympathetic to any challenges which made it extremely easy to work with her through a difficult year. For example, she went out of her way to always meet with my daughter in person rather than online as she knew that was more effective and comfortable for her.
I would whole-heartedly recommend Cristina as a tutor to anyone - she is a very able tutor but most importantly understands how to support a young person, how to get to know their learning style to help them most effectively and how to build positive relationships to provide a solid foundation for working together.
In terms of grades, even at the beginning of year 13 my daughter was just scraping C grades but in the end achieved an A* - a testament to her own determination and dedicated hard work but she couldn’t have done it without Cristina’s help and inspiration!

Cristina has been totally fantastic. She has given my daughter lots of confidence and has very clearly explained some important key topics and addressed the confusions. They have also covered lots of exam techniques. Such useful sessions!
