Online Small Groups Tuition for Neurodivergent Students & 1:1 Mental Health Coaching

Hi, I’m Daisy, a PGCE-qualified English tutor and coach with a passion for helping neurodivergent students thrive. I specialize in SEND support and use my unique Tutor-Coach Approach to guide students not only through their GCSEs but also toward greater confidence and well-being.

I offer small groups for KS4 neurodiverse students, designed to build essential skills that apply to any exam board—whether students are in Year 10, Year 11, or retaking exams. My focus is on the transformative journey, such as taking students from a D to B (or 3 to 6) in their exams, with a 100% pass rate for those I’ve coached.

What sets my classes apart?

  • Personalised and flexible: Small group settings where students can be themselves, with the option to have cameras and mics off.
  • Skills-based learning: Practical tools and strategies that work across all exam boards.
  • Neurodivergent-friendly: Lessons tailored for students with ADHD, autism, and other learning differences, delivered by someone who understands their challenges firsthand.

In addition to groups tuition, I also offer limited 1:1 slots for A Level students and those seeking mental health coaching to support their educational journey. My approach goes beyond academics, focusing on holistic growth and building confidence for long-term success.

Outside of tutoring, I’m a creative writer and run an international online writing community of over 70 members. I also enjoy hanging out with my ginger cat, Ginny.

Why choose me?

  • Expertise in neurodivergent learning with lived experience of ADHD.
  • Proven success helping students confidently pass their GCSEs.
  • A supportive, student-first environment with flexibility for neurodiverse needs, including frequent breaks.

Tutoring Experience

I have extensive experience teaching KS3-5, GCSE, A Level, IB, AP, and the Australian 11+ exam, with a track record I’m proud of—a 100% pass rate.

Having spent two years teaching in inner London schools and three more years as an online tutor, I’ve developed a highly personalized approach tailored to each student’s unique needs and learning style.

What I’m equally proud of is how my students experience a significant boost in confidence, which positively impacts their mental well-being and academic performance. Consistent 5-star reviews on other platforms speak to the effectiveness of my teaching style, with students and parents noting the difference it has made in both their grades and self-esteem.

  • KS3 - According to our daughter, ''Daisy was really fun and she made the session exciting and interactive. She discussed different styles of writing and techniques which helped her to improve her creative writing ability''.

  • KS3 - Super pleased with the progress made by my daughter with Daisy. I can see that Daisy is able to guide her towards better understanding.

  • GCSE - Daisy is truly unique, the bond she has formed with my daughter over the past three years has been incredibly special. My daughter was predicted a D at the start of her GCSE year. Through her hard work and determination with Daisy, she managed to get a B in both Literature and Language. Daisy is just an incredible teacher: so likeable, warm and fun. My daughter would be lost without Daisy's amazing support.

Tutoring Approach

I use what I call the Tutor-Coach Approach, blending personalized tutoring with coaching techniques to not only improve grades but also build lasting confidence in my students.

Each session is tailored to the individual, starting with a personalised learning profile created after our first meeting. This profile identifies their strengths, areas for improvement, and specific learning goals. I don't just focus on grades—I’m committed to boosting self-esteem and reducing anxiety, especially during exams, because I believe confidence is key to academic success.

My lessons are highly interactive and centered around building a strong rapport with my students. I provide a supportive, judgment-free environment where they feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes. This approach has consistently led to impressive results, with students meeting or surpassing their goals. For example, one of my GCSE students filled educational gaps to achieve a B, while two A Level students improved from an E and D to Bs, far exceeding their predicted grades.
