My name is Daisy Removed and I am 24 years old. I graduated Durham University in the summer of 2019 with a 2:1 in Modern Languages (Spanish & Italian). I am currently based in London and I am looking for some work from home tutoring jobs. I love animals, writing, reading and spending time with friends. I have 5 siblings, 3 who are younger and 2 older so I have lots of experience with different age groups!
I have tutored my two younger sisters for their common entrance exams and GCSE qualifications. When I was living in Barcelona and Florence I did quite as few language exchanges with foreign students and classes.
My approach to teaching is of a more natural manner. I think it is important to firstly assess what it is each student is aiming to learn or needs to understand. Going from there, I like to plan each class in order to cover all the topics. I like to encourage the students to be interactive and be the one who is speaking, asking questions and learning. At the end of each topic, tests or practise questions are something I like to instil to make sure they have really grasped the main concepts. Bullet point notes which can easily be referred to are also helpful in my experience.
