I am originally from Greece and I hold a first in Arts: sculpture as well as two postgraduate qualifications including a Master degree from the RCA.
I have A levels in maths, ancient and modern Greek language.
I am a QTS (qualified teacher) currently working as a supply staff in various secondary schools in TW. I have also a previous ten-year higher education experience as a lecturer and senior lecturer in various Universities and polytechnics in Greece, teaching sculpture and ceramics.
I am looking to teach Primary school Maths and prepare for 11+ exams: my last student scored 138/140 in maths in Kent test.
I can also assist you to prepare successful portfolios for art scholarships for public school 11+ plus and 13+ entry, with my last student achieving 100/100 fee reduction.
I can teach Greek, preparing for scholarships or work through exams curriculums.
As to other previous employment I have been working as a FT Lecturer and senior Lecturer in fine arts, sculpture and ceramics in various colleges and Universities in Greece for ten years.
I am a professional tutor who has a passion on academic success for my students. I believe I can unlock pupils’ potentials and understanding in maths or boost their talent in art.
I can work towards the National curriculum from reception up to the 11+ in Maths, Art and Greek up to A levels.
I can build confidence and the right approach to learning and become a mentor for my students.
My moto is that there is not such a thing as a bad student; a bad teacher is responsible instead!
So my goal is to turn learning fun for young children as well as teenagers.
