Hi, I'm Dan.

I am a 2nd year medical student, who is very passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with as many students as possible. Alongside academics I'm an avid sportsman who loves to play cricket and badminton. Studying can be challenging at times and that's why I want to bring my fresh teaching style and enthusiasm to help others.

I have been tutoring for 2 years.

Tutoring Approach

My teaching style is extremely adaptable, and I will always tailor my lessons to meet the needs of my students.

I typically, would start with an introductory lesson to find out where exactly the student needs help. Based on this, I will work with the student to devise a weekly lesson plan, with sessions normally lasting an hour (which can be extended).

We will only work at the pace the student feels comfortable, and will cover the content effectively.

Afterwards, we would look at some exam questions, specific to the exam board the student is following, so that we can work on applying knowledge; which is the ultimate goal of my teaching sessions.

Depending on how much work the student already has, or how much they are comfortable with, I may recommend them to do some follow up work on the content covered in the lesson.
