My Name is Daniel Removedand I'm a 23 year old from London. I'm singer with a love for music and English. I compose lyrics in my spare time and have been part of choir performances across London.
I am currently an NQT who has dedicated the past 5 years navigating through the education system with a clear goal in becoming an English teacher. Through this journey of being a student and completing my PGCE training, I have built a bank of helpful knowledge about the English national curriculum and the techniques used in managing learning. Haven taken on observations and hands on approach with students has enabled me to hone in my own skills right down to providing lesson on Microsoft teams for students during the past year. I am Knowledgeable on Safeguarding through training and prioritise the well being of my students.
I like to tailor my teaching and materials to be accessible by all students and incoporate challenging tasks that aim to push and stimulate them to their full potential. Setting goals and learning objectives that can be reviewed weekly will be a rewarding experience for both the student and I as we break down the barriers that may have been hindering their learning. Drawing from Lev S. Vygotsky's theory of collaborative learning through dialogue guides me to provide a safe space for my students that allows them to share their concerns on the subject area's that need improvement. Most importantly, I am here to strengthen the confidence and spark the love for reading as these are valuable and interchangeable later on in future careers.
