I am an experienced teacher, performer and composer based in Watford. I have read music and technology at the University of East Anglia, and in 2014 I completed my Master's degree in composition at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Tutoring Experience

I have eight years of experience as a tutor of classical guitar and of music theory. More recently I have begun tutoring in Music Technology, and am available to give practical lessons in everything from microphone placement to mixing and mastering. I also give lessons on songwriting and composition, subjects which I have studied to extensively. I have found that composition is often poorly taught in a school setting and that my expertise in this subject has been of particular value to students studying music at GCSE or A Level.

Tutoring Approach

I have a flexible, collaborative approach to teaching, in which I let my student's curiosity lead the way. When my pupils encounter barriers, I use my knowledge and experience to help them overcome them.
