Daniel

Daniel is a music producer, composer and recording artist who specialises in the production of electronic computer composition, analogue synthesis and sound design.

Daniel is a certified Logic Pro 9 user, but uses Logic’s transferable skills to tutor Logic Pro X professionally.

He composes and produces in all styles of music, and has recently been nominated for ‘best original song’ at the Berlin fashion film festival.

Tutoring Experience

Daniel has experience teaching music production to university students in Leeds. Daniel has just moved back down to the area and teaches from his professional home studio.

Tutoring Approach

s well as teaching you how to use a DAW (digital-audio-workstation), we will critically analyze your music and recordings. We will look at why you’ve made certain decisions, and talk about how we would progress the track to release quality.

We will study how to create sound using digital plugins, as well as how to record and synthesize your own sounds to make sample instruments such as drum kits, ambient pads, keyboards, etc.

Throughout your time with me I will be setting critical listening and reading tasks. These are not intense, but they are compulsory.
