Hello!
I am a recent graduate from University College London. I just finished a degree in Cancer Biomedicine, which required me to have a grasp on the fundamentals of human physiology as well as the dynamics of various cancers; I also have a gras of statistics and essay writing skills as these were all fundamental to my final dissertation.
I am easygoing and strive to be friendly in everything that I do, and provided that I have enough information about what you struggle with in specific subjects I am more than happy to prepare the best explanations so that you may clearly understand how to improve in your chosen subjects.
I speak Ukrainian and Russian alongside English, but I would consider English to be my native tonuge.
While my academic teaching experience is limited to tutoring younger children of family and friends, I have had experience with coaching fencing to younger kids (ages 13 and up), and was recently registered as an assistant coach at UCL (until I graduated).
I personally prefer either a constructivist or an inquiry based approach to teaching, as (having gone through tutoring myself) I have found that these are the most useful and stick the longest. These also help to build a learner's understanding and therefore application of knowledge, as it does not limit a learner to solely one example question but instead gives them an ability to analyze how to solve problems like it as well.
