Hi There!

I am an 18 year old Medical student at the University of East Anglia.

Throughout secondary school, I achieved 11 GCSE's at Grade 9, including the 'core' subjects of Maths, English and Science. During college, I have achieved 4A* in my subjects, not including an A* in my EPQ, which regarded physician migration. Throughout this experience, I have developed a range of techniques and methods of understanding complicated processes, which I am able to share as needed.

Having only gone through GCSE's and A Levels recently, I understand well the demands of the AQA syllabi in the subjects I undertook, putting me in the position of understanding both where potential issues may arise and how to overcome them.

I can readily tutor in the NR1/NR2 postcode, though if you are outside these please do let me know as I might still be able to commute.

Tutoring Experience

I have been a tutor on and off for several years, and have covered SAT and GCSE level Mathematics and English with my clients.

Additionally, I have also successfully helped my fellow classmates throughout the years with particularly difficult areas in my subjects.

Having also been tutored personally, I understand and put into practice the methods and approaches which I have seen to be effective, whilst consistently refining and adapting as necessary.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is friendly and informal, as in my experience an established connection with a tutor makes learning as effective as possible, as well as ensuring each session is enjoyable for everyone involved.

My educational approach comprises the use of whiteboards (or the student's notebook), as I feel this is the most efficient and interactive method of delivering content. I also use printed out sheets, for practicing the content covered in a way that can be referred back to as revision.

Homework can also be provided if requested, for which I attempt to include recent content as well as a separate topic as revision.

For younger students, I can include educational games to keep lessons fun and lighthearted.
