I took early retirement from teaching Biology, moving from Cardiff to Hereford in May 2013 in order to establish a business producing and distributing cider and perry. I am married to Fiona, and have two children - Bethan and Jack.
I taught Biology to GCSE and A Level at Llanishen High School in Cardiff, between 1990 and 2013. I also taught Combined Science at Key Stage 3.
At the time of writing (October 2017) I have been tutoring for four years, and I find it very rewarding. I enjoy explaining difficult concepts, in a way that makes them easy to understand. I enjoy working one-to-one with my students here at Stalls Cottage, and encouraged them to complete past exam papers, so that we can go over them together, identifying strategies for improvement.
