David helped my son to get his confidence back with Maths that he had to retake for his GCSES. He passed his Maths exam with only a few lessons needed.
David is very patient and helpful with great ability to communicate with students!

I'm a mature student on an access course and I really struggle with maths - David really helped me to understand the topics that I was struggling with despite going through them with my college tutor. David picked up that I was unsure, and tried to help me understand by using different methods and eventually it did sink in! He even offered to look through work I did at home between tutorials in his own time (he wanted to make sure I understood and didn't struggle) without me asking! A professional guy with a very relaxed nature - I would definitely recommend!

David has helped my daughter in GCSE maths preparation immensely. My daughter have found his teachings style very helpful.

David was an excellent tutor who helped our daughter gain the grade she needed in A Level maths to enable her to get into her first choice of University, following a re-take of her Year 12 AS level Maths. David has a friendly, patient, quiet manner who allows a student to develop at their own pace and as a result develop in confidence. David never watched the clock and never restricted sessions to the allotted time, instead as long as our daughter was happy to go on he would continue until whatever they were looking at had been understood. It was a pleasure to have David in our house & I would recommend him to anyone as a tutor.

It is obvious that David has a great understanding and ability of Maths. He really gets you to think about what the question is asking you and which Maths skills can be applied to the problem. I found it really useful when he would then guide me through an alternative method to help get a better understanding of the subject. He is very engaging and he is does not watch the clock, if you are working through a set of questions he will make sure you get through them regardless of time. The amount you get out of your time with David on how much you put in and he will more than surpass that. He took me from a C at A-level Maths at best to getting a very strong B. I would thoroughly recommend David to anybody as he is a great teacher who shows a deep understanding of all topics of Maths.

Really great guy. Patient, attentive, knowledgable and friendly, everything we were looking for and more. Our 8 year old is responding really well to the Maths sessions. Her confidence is growing so much as a result, highly recommend David.

David is punctual and my daughter is getting on really well.
He is never in a hurry to leave, is flexible and will move at the pace that she is comfortable with. Really pleased she has him as her tutor, even better as she picked him.

David is most definitely a 5-star tutor. From the first moment he was able to put Conor at his ease, assess his weaknesses and quickly drive for results by ensuring the basics of each section of mathematics was understood and practised before moving on to a different subject area. We gave David a huge challenge – a 4 week window in which to upskill Conor in areas of the higher mathematics paper and the idiosyncrasies of the American CollegeBoard SAT examination terminology. David took this in his stride and provided intensive tutoring which was both effective and motivational and Conor went into the first exam feeling at ease and far more confident.

The biggest accolade comes from Conor himself … someone who has struggled enormously with maths and confidence in his abilities in the subject … “Although we are having 2 hourly tutoring sessions, it only feels like 20 minutes because David makes it fun, interesting, explains everything really well and makes me want to succeed”. Continued tutoring for the second exam has really pushed Conor who feels he has “learnt and understood more in 8 weeks than I did in a whole year at school”. Praise indeed and it is most worthy. We cannot recommend David highly enough, apart from being a great maths tutor he is also an extremely personable, unassuming young man who is more than willing to sacrifice his own time to ensure subjects are covered off fully before ending a session. David is also timely, efficient and keen to praise and recognise his students efforts.

David has been helping our daughter with preparation for her GCSE maths.He so far has proved to be incredibly successful in helping my daughter gain a better knowledge of the subject,increase her confidence and help her begin to enjoy the challenges David sets.David is polite,punctual and quite often stays over his allotted time in order to complete work he has planned.I would definitely recommend David to my friends.

David has been a very patient and encouraging tutor for my daughter, he has only been a few times so far but she has already increased in confidence. He is always punctual. We will certainly continue to use David and would have no hesitation in recommending him.

David is a very polite, easy going person, my son seems to get on very well with him in his tuition and he's explanation to order the Math is very clear, making easier for my son to understand it.

Excellent tutor, he has been able to explain concepts that my children have struggled with at school. David is able to adapt his teaching style and has supported my child doing a levels and my child with dyscalculia. He is very friendly and professional.
