I have played guitar for 40 years and passed my ALCM IN 1987. Since then I have performed in a variety of settings - as a jazz guitarist in jazz clubs, as a solo jazz and classical guitarist, as a jazz double bass player, etc.
Tutoring Experience
I started teaching guitar around 1990 and have taken many students through their grades, as well as leading group sessions for adult guitarists.
Tutoring Approach
I am keen to assist students who really want to learn. I am keen on the classical guitar but am happy to help with jazz styles and music theory too. I specialise in and particularly enjoy helping, keen adult students.
