I am a freelance performer and teacher in London. I am an alumnus of the Royal College of Music, and the Yehudi Menuhin School where I studied with Natasha Boyarski. I have played the violin for 20 years and have performed extensively over those years.
I started teaching when I was 16, first assisting violin teachers with their students, then moving on to private teaching once I entered College. I have worked with ages 7-75, and have taught both one on one and in groups.
My teaching approach is based on each individual student's needs. My education and experience allow me to recognize myself in each of my students, both in their struggles and progress, having been there myself. I also believe that anybody is capable of learning the violin, whatever the age, and whatever the purpose (amateur or professional, ABRSM, etc.). My aim is to help achieve that purpose.
