Hello, my name is David Pullin. I have a Bsc (Hons) degree in Psychology and a PGC:FE teaching qualification. I am passionate about teaching and helping students achieve their full potential. Teaching can take place face to face or online via Microsoft Teams.

Tutoring Experience

20 years teaching as specialist OCR psychology teacher, 16 years spent at a high achieving P16 school in Nottinghamshire
teaching OCR A-level Psychology. Currently, worker for alternative education provider for students who, for whatever reason, are unable to attend mainstream school.

Subjects on offer:
Functional Skills: Math and English Entry Level 1, 2, 3 and Level 1.
PSHE.

Tutoring Approach

Just as no two students are the same, neither are any two teachers. I strongly believe all students have the ability to achieve and should be encouraged to reach their full potential. Often they lack self-belief or confidence and prefer the one to one approach. Years of experience has taught me if student wants to learn, they will. It is a matter of finding the right method that suits the student.
