I am an enthusiastic, friendly, experienced Maths teacher based in Anglesey. At present I only have daytime spaces left for Adults or Home Ed students.
I am an experienced KS3 and GCSE Maths teacher, including teaching Y12 maths resit classes. Previous to my teaching degree I was a teaching assistant in both primary and secondary schools, which gave me invaluable experience in intervention and working 1-2-1. I am also an experienced violin, piano and music theory teacher.
I believe in a pupil-centred approach, every student is different. For exam preparation, focussing on weak areas and consolidating the basics before moving on to more difficult topics, with fine tuning using past papers. Building student confidence in maths is paramount, as is making lessons a good mix of instruction and enjoyment.
With instrumental lessons, my aim is to encourage a love of the instrument and Music in general, in conjunction with excellent technique and studying music theory alongside the practical.
I am happy to visit you in your own home on Saturday-Sunday if it is local to Anglesey and Bangor. I am equally happy to teach Maths online Wed - Friday to those further away or who prefer it.
Current availability: I only have a few spaces during the day for adults or Home Educated students. If these times do not suit I can add you to my waiting list and offer lessons in school holidays until a space that does work becomes available.
