Great tutor , friendly , warm and knowledgeable. Restored my daughters love of books and writing. Helped to developed her writing, vocabulary and analytical skills , enabling her to achieve top grades in both her English Language and Literature exams.

Deborah has provided great structure to our daughter’s learning by enquiring as to exactly what was needed and ensuring the work set was meaningful to achieve the desired aims.

Working with Deborah was a great experience all round. She was responsive to messages; and worked with me to find suitable time slots for tutoring. She tutored my son for GCSE English Language resit. He had a disappointing grade in the summer and whilst he did not have to resit, he chose to.
He thoroughly enjoyed working with Deborah, she really made the content easy to understand and gave him (and me) clear feedback on areas to work on.
He improved his result at resit by 2 grades. Needless to say we were all delighted.
I cannot recommend Deborah highly enough!

We found after a couple of lessons that our son asked to for more and more lessons- Deborah made what was an otherwise laborious subject for him interesting and his confidence grew with regard to GCSE exams. He was able to implement what he learnt as he now understood it.We know that his English Language and literature GCSE grades were elevated by 2 grades with her tuition. We absolutely recommend her. We had lessons weekly( some
double as exams got closer!) for about 5 months, money well spent, thank you!

I am so pleased I found Deborah, who helped me prepare for my A level English Language. She really helped me with my confidence for all my A levels, picking me up when I doubted myself. She always brought her positivity to each lesson and knew how to help me with the areas I wasn’t strong in. She is an excellent tutor and I am really going to miss her lessons.

Deborah really helped my son achieve a Grade 5 in his GCSE English Language (previously attaining a Grade 3). Working through sample papers and questions, explaining the necessary skills required to attain a higher mark was instrumental. My sons confidence increased in his English Language which he was then able to apply to other written exams.
