Deepa Taneja

I am skilled, talented and professional training coordinator/ manager with more than 20 years of experience in delivering training sessions, writing and designing courses, directing enterprise initiatives and leading trainees. I am postgraduate in computers and have several other vocational IT qualifications in my treasure. I am qualified NVQ/VRQ Assessor and verifier. I thrive for continuous development and excellence. I have worked regularly to keep up with the industry standards. I am a member of IFL.

While working my key role was teaching at various levels. I have always suggested and introduced methods and procedures of teaching solely to improve the quality of education. I have sharpened my organizational skills, attention to detail and my ability to work with effectiveness and efficiently. In my past and current positions I have gained experience in research, writing reports, designing curriculum and procedures and much more. My natural talents, analytical problem solving, planning, and enthusiasm and spirit to achieve combined with my work ethic makes me a well-rounded person with entrepreneurial spirit. I am full time employed as a Tutor and Coordinator in London. I am working in web design and development, coordinate commercial website development, corporate training, private tuition. Tutoring Experience

I have been in the education industry since 1997 and have worked with organizations and individuals that had varied visions and missions. I have worked with commercial, charities, Further Education colleges, private colleges, and employers & individuals. I have helped learners achieve their goals in order to fulfill their aspirations in the IT field.
I have taught NVQ Level 1-4 in IT User, Support & Maintenance and specialize in Software development and web design and development. My University favorites are Programming languages, Web Engineering, Information Systems, E-commerce, and Database Design and Implementation. I have delivered for NCC, ACP, Edexcel, C&G for various levels to postgraduate IT for Universities (Greenwich, Glyndor, Hertfordshire, Lincoln) in the UK. I have supervised university projects and assignments. I am delivering training in schools, universities, private institutes, home tuition, group tuition, project consultations, etc.

I am a self-motivated individual who loves to take initiatives, full of constructive and positive ideas and I love to work in a team. I am passionate and strive for excellence and achieve a high degree of personal success. I have helped students from school to universities in their coursework preparation, projects, assignments, seminars, and presentations to achieve higher grades. I teach to achieve.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to tutoring/teaching is coaching and mentoring. I believe in hands-on and appreciate different learning styles. I have an adaptive and reflective approach with complete learner focus. I use the GROW model and assess the learner current knowledge and realities. And then derive the road map where the learner wants to be in terms of achievement. I also use expectation management and will provide notes and other resources for further references.

Language and examples will be practical, the real day to day life based and industry oriented but at learner's level of understanding and knowledge. I believe in results and provide services that a good value for money and asset for life. I involve and engage learners through various methods of delivery. I am upfront, honest, friendly, down to earth, reliable and approachable person.
